Hello everyone, I hope everybody is doing okay in the world. I don't mean to be a downer, but I just got some tragic news. I just found out that Kazuki Takahashi, the original creator of duel monsters and the legend, the creative genius that created Yu-Gi-Oh! has tragically passed away. Apparently he was out snorkeling at southwestern Japan. When I first heard that I felt my heart just shift around. Now I know how the world felt when they lost Walt Disney and Osamu Tezuka. It like losing an amazing relative. The man had a major influence in my childhood, I remember Yu-Gi-Oh! being a major part in my childhood, everyday after school tuning in to see what was next in Battle City, and renting the Duelist Kingdom arc on dvd and vhs at my local Blockbusters. R.I.P. Kazuo you really left your mark on pop culture and the world of card games.

I really liked how you linked Y/N into being drawn into the story & the battle. It legitimately gives him a reason to be involved. With the God cards, with the Shadow realm, with the Ishtar's, all of it. And I loved how you fleshed out and gave detail to Y/N's relationship with Ishizu rather than just say that they were already together and she told him everything and he just decides to get involved cause its the right thing to do and etc. You really can believe that this conflict brought them together, and how they' ll have to depend on each other to help beat the darkness in Marik and aid the Pharaoh. There was a quote I once heard from Bionicle that I loved and feel it really goes with this story it went something like "But then new allies joined the fight. And helped to bring an end to the evil."
